>Are you in a frenzy, searching for a wonderful gift for someone you love? Here are some ideas:
- One thing I’ve done in the past when I haven’t had time to actually finish a knitted item that I wanted to give someone was to wrap up the yarn and pattern in a lovely box and present that to the recepient.
- Stocking stuffers are always difficult for me. Here are some great ones from 3 Kittens: Gloves in a Bottle (the smaller size is perfect for a stocking), Serendipity Needles, lint shavers (good for non-fiber artists
as well – to take pills off sweaters), or little Vusion lights.
- If you have time this weekend (yeah, right…) how about whipping up a felted animal for a child? The Fiber Trends Koala is actually a fairly quick knit, or how about a felted chicken from the Toving Tema 11 booklet by Sandnesgarn? Here’s a row of them that my sister-in-law, Mimi Rasmussen, made. These are really fast!
We’re open our regular hours over the weekend, but on Monday, Christmas Eve, we’re only open until 3 pm.
If you’re lucky enough not to have to do any more shopping, relax and enjoy the holiday weekend!
