Have you caught the String Doll craze? Cis bought these cute little key chains/rearview mirror ornaments/backpack decorations at Market in January, and the first shipment was almost completely sold out within a week (I must admit that I took 8 or so of them home for my ten-year old son!). The second shipment arrived today with new characters. The best thing about the String Dolls isn’t that they’re cute or that they are each handmade with a single piece of string in Thailand; it’s that they come with fun little sayings and names. For instance, “E-Moe feels sad so that you don’t have to” and “Red Devil helps keep your temper in check during those extra trying times.”
